Is benzotriazole the same as tolyltriazole?
No. Tolyltriazole is the methyl-substituted homologue and a separate product with its own CAS number, often specified as an alternative in the same coolant and cooling-water programmes. If a formulation calls for tolyltriazole, order tolyltriazole by name.
Which forms of benzotriazole are available?
