What is dibasic ester made of?

It is a blend of the dimethyl esters of adipic, glutaric and succinic acid, which is why buyers also call it a dimethyl ester blend. The proportions differ between grades, so a specification names the ratio or the resulting evaporation behaviour rather than a single substance.

Because the product is a mixture of three esters and no one identifier describes it.
