Zinc Oxide (ZnO) Supplier in Malaysia

  • Also known as
  • ZnO
  • Zinc White
  • Zink Oksida

Zinc oxide supplier for rubber, ceramic, coatings and industrial chemical buyers in Malaysia. Also known as ZnO and zinc white, this white oxide powder is selected for vulcanisation activation, ceramic and glass batch work, industrial pigmentation and related process uses.

Commercial coverage centres on fine powder grades rather than consumer products. Rubber grade supports sulphur-cured elastomer compounds, ceramic grade serves glazes and frits, pigment grades supply zinc white performance in coatings, and active ZnO is requested when higher surface area is specified.

Buyers commonly distinguish French (indirect) and American (direct) process material, and may quote seal-style purity labels on the specification. State assay, particle size, surface area and impurity limits with the enquiry so the commercial grade can be matched to the process.

Send the required grade, process route if known, target specification, quantity and delivery location with your enquiry. Availability, packing, documentation and delivery timing are confirmed with the quotation.

Common questions about zinc oxide

Which zinc oxide grade should I request?

Rubber grade is commonly selected for sulphur vulcanisation with stearic acid. Ceramic grade suits glazes, frits and glass batch work. Pigment and coatings grades serve industrial paint and zinc white duties, while active ZnO is chosen when higher surface area is specified. State the end use so the grade can be matched more closely.

What is the difference between French process and American process zinc oxide?

French process, also called the indirect process, vaporises metallic zinc and oxidises the vapour. American process, or direct process, reduces and oxidises zinc-bearing feedstock in one route. Buyers often specify process route together with assay, particle size and impurity limits. Include the preferred route in the enquiry when it is fixed on your specification.

Are Red Seal and White Seal the same as rubber or ceramic grade?

Seal terms are specification-led trade labels used in some markets to describe purity and impurity packages. They are not universal substitutes for rubber, ceramic or pigment grade names. Send the assay, heavy-metal limits and particle-size target from your current specification so the correct commercial grade can be quoted.

Is zinc oxide the same as zinc dust?

No. Zinc oxide is the oxide ZnO, usually a white powder used as a rubber activator, ceramic flux, pigment and chemical intermediate. Zinc dust is metallic zinc powder used mainly for coatings, reduction and cementation. Request zinc oxide when the oxide is required, not zinc dust or zinc metal powder.

What specifications should a buyer provide for industrial zinc oxide?

State grade or end use, preferred process route if known, ZnO assay, particle size or surface area, moisture and any impurity or heavy-metal limits. For an existing formulation, attach the current specification or a representative sample requirement.

What details are needed for a zinc oxide price enquiry?

Provide grade, specification or process route, quantity and delivery location. Mention preferred pack format and any documentation needs so the quotation can address the full industrial requirement.
