Zinc Sulphate Supplier in Malaysia
- Also known as
- Zinc Sulfate
- zinc(II) Sulphate
- zinc(II) Sulfate
- White Vitriol
Zinc sulphate for fertiliser, animal feed and process chemistry in Malaysia. Heptahydrate and monohydrate crystals are the usual commercial hydrates, with feed and fertiliser grades specified by zinc content and heavy-metal limits.
Agricultural monohydrate or heptahydrate supplies zinc micronutrient in soil and foliar programmes. Feed-grade material meets premix heavy-metal expectations. Technical grades support plating and industrial process use.
Growers and fertiliser blenders dose zinc sulphate into NPK and micronutrient mixes. Feed mills add feed-grade salt to premixes. Metal finishers may request technical solution or crystals for zinc plating baths.
Specify hydrate, fertiliser or feed grade, zinc percentage target, tonnes and delivery site. Pack and analysis for the quoted lot are set on the offer.

- Grade
- heptahydrate, monohydrate, technical, fertiliser, feed, food
- Appearance
- white to colourless crystals, crystalline powder or granules; form depends on the hydration state and grade selected
Zinc Sulphate grades and forms
We supply several forms to suit different formulating and dosing setups. If you need a size that is not listed, ask us.
| Grade | Form | Assay | Typical use | Packing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zinc sulphate heptahydrate | white to colourless crystals or crystalline granules | — | General commercial supply where the heptahydrate form is specified for fertiliser, feed, process chemistry or solution preparation. | Confirm the required pack format with the quotation. |
| Zinc sulphate monohydrate | white crystalline powder or granules | — | Dry blending, fertiliser and feed formulations that call for monohydrate zinc sulphate rather than the higher-hydration crystal form. | Confirm the required pack format with the quotation. |
| Fertiliser grade zinc sulphate | crystals, powder or granules as specified | — | Zinc micronutrient for fertiliser blends, fertigation and foliar programmes where an agricultural grade and zinc analysis are required. | Confirm the required pack format with the quotation. |
| Feed grade zinc sulphate | crystals, powder or granules as specified | — | Trace zinc source for mineral premixes and compound feed when the buyer specifies feed grade and the applicable quality requirements. | Confirm the required pack format with the quotation. |
| Technical grade zinc sulphate | crystals, powder or granules as specified | — | Electroplating electrolytes, rayon and textile processing, mining flotation aids, zinc-salt manufacture and other industrial process uses. | Confirm the required pack format with the quotation. |
| Food grade zinc sulphate | crystals or crystalline powder as specified | — | Food and related process uses where a food-grade zinc sulphate specification is stated by the buyer. | Confirm the required pack format with the quotation. |

Safety and handling
Keep sealed in a cool, dry place and protect from moisture. Control dust during powder handling and follow the safety information for the quoted grade.
Common questions about zinc sulphate
Is zinc sulphate the same as zinc sulfate?
Yes. Zinc sulphate and zinc sulfate are the same salt; the first is British spelling and the second American. Also called zinc(II) sulphate, white vitriol or zinc vitriol. State the required hydrate and grade in the enquiry because assay bases differ.
What is the difference between zinc sulphate heptahydrate and monohydrate?
Heptahydrate carries seven waters of crystallisation and is commonly supplied as crystals or crystalline granules. Monohydrate carries one water of crystallisation and is often preferred as powder or granules for dry blending. Do not interchange them without adjusting the material basis.
Which grade should I request for fertiliser or feed use?
For agriculture, request fertiliser grade and state blend, fertigation or foliar use plus the required zinc analysis. For animal nutrition, request feed grade and any impurity or documentation limits that apply to the premix or feed.
Is zinc sulphate the same as zinc chloride, zinc oxide or zinc dust?
No. Zinc sulphate is a zinc(II) sulphate salt. Zinc chloride, zinc oxide and zinc dust are different products with different uses and specifications. Keep the identities separate when ordering.
Can food-grade zinc sulphate be quoted?
Yes, when you state the food or process application and the required specification. Food-grade material is not interchangeable with ordinary fertiliser or technical grades without a matching specification.
What details are needed for a zinc sulphate price enquiry?
Provide the hydration form or grade, assay or zinc-content basis, any impurity limits, quantity and delivery location. Mention preferred packing and documentation needs so the quotation can address the full requirement.
