Fly Ash Supplier in Malaysia

  • Also known as
  • Pulverised Fuel Ash
  • Coal Combustion Fly Ash

Fly ash supplier in Malaysia for cement, concrete, precast, ready-mix and bulk fill buyers. Also called pulverised fuel ash or PFA, fly ash is the fine grey pozzolanic powder recovered from coal combustion flue gas and selected as a supplementary cementitious material or mineral filler.

Commercial grades include Class F low-lime ash, Class C higher-lime ash, fineness-graded material controlled on the 45 micron sieve, and unclassified as-collected powder for lower-specification fill. Class and fineness vary by coal source, so buyers should state the required standard or mix design rather than relying on a fixed assay.

Construction teams use fly ash in concrete, cement blending, grouting, soil stabilisation, AAC and lightweight block work, while manufacturing and selected polymer or bitumen applications may take it as a fine mineral powder. It remains distinct from bottom ash, pond ash, GGBS, silica fume, metakaolin and rice husk ash.

Send the required class or grade, target specification, quantity and delivery location with your enquiry. Availability, packing, documentation and delivery timing are confirmed with the quotation.

Common questions about fly ash

What is fly ash and is it the same as pulverised fuel ash?

Fly ash is the fine powder recovered from coal-fired power station flue gases. Pulverised fuel ash, often shortened to PFA, is the same material under UK and Commonwealth standards language. It is not bottom ash, pond ash, GGBS, silica fume, metakaolin or rice husk ash.

What is the difference between Class F and Class C fly ash?

Class F fly ash is typically low-lime material from bituminous or anthracite coal and is used as a pozzolan. Class C fly ash usually has higher lime from sub-bituminous or lignite coal and can be both pozzolanic and self-cementing. State the class your mix design or standard requires.

Which fly ash grade should I request for cement or concrete work?

Many concrete and cement buyers specify Class F or Class C together with a fineness or 45 micron residue limit. Send the referenced standard, mix design and any LOI or chemical limits so the quoted material can be matched to the application.

Can fly ash be used for fill, stabilisation or block manufacture?

Yes. Unclassified or lower-specification material is often considered for structural fill and controlled low-strength material, while graded ash is used in soil stabilisation, AAC, lightweight block, brick and paving products when the project specification allows it.

Do you publish a fixed fly ash composition or assay?

No single fixed composition fits all consignments because fly ash chemistry and fineness vary by coal source and collection. Provide the class, fineness and any chemical limits you need; grade controls are confirmed against the required specification with the quotation.

What details are needed for a fly ash price enquiry in Malaysia?

Provide the class or grade, application, target specification, quantity and delivery location. Mention preferred packing and any document needs so the quotation can address the full commercial requirement.
