What is industrial grease made from?

What is the difference between lithium and lithium-complex grease?
Conventional lithium grease is widely used for general multipurpose lubrication. Lithium-complex formulations are selected when the equipment brief calls for higher temperature capability or a more demanding EP grade. Check the full equipment specification rather than substituting by thickener alone.
When is calcium-sulfonate-complex grease useful?
